Mono prints for the 'illustrated extracts' project at NUCA. They are for Jeanette Wintersons 'Oranges are not the only fruit.' I watched to tv series as well as read the book so I could get more feel for the setting, the tv series was written and produced by Jeanette Winterson so it didn't stray too far from the book. I laso looked at early episodes of Coronation Street because I love drawing old matriarchs.
